Emotions & Yin Method Journey:

Emotions & Yin Method, is an emobodied approach that uses yin yoga, breathwork, and nervous system awareness to support emotional processing and integration.

It is designed to help you understand how emotions affect the body and how they can be processed safely through stillness, awareness, and gentle guided practice. It consists of three progressive steps:

  1. Foundations introduces the relationship between emotions, the body, and Yin Yoga. It’s a 2-hr workshop.

  2. Immersion explores the nature and purpose of emotions, Five Element and Meridian Theory. It’s a 5-hr workshop.

  3. Integration brings these teachings into self-practice, helping participants develop the capacity to remain present, balanced, and responsive in everyday life. It’s a 5-hr workshop.

FAQ

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes, this method is suitable for beginners. You do not need any prior yoga experience. Each session is guided in a way that is slow, supportive, and accessible, with options to modify or rest at any time.

The focus is not on physical ability, but on presence, awareness, and how you experience emotions in the body. It is especially supportive for those who are new to inner work or returning to their body after a stressfulul period, in the middle of big transition or emotional overwhelm.

How is this different from a regular yin yoga class?

A regular yin yoga class primarily focuses on physical flexibility, fascia release, and energetic balance through long-held postures.

EYM integrates emotional processing, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and guided cognitive practice into the experience.

You are guided to notice emotional patterns, sensations, and inner responses as they arise in the body.

The practice becomes a space for emotional exploration, regulation, and integration, rather than only physical release.
