I am Madina Tanekeyeva (B.Ec, E-RYT, RPYT, Dip CBed) - a senior yoga teacher with 18+ years of teaching experience based in Sydney.
I was born in Kazakhstan, matured in the Netherlands, and now reside in Australia with my family of four. I am a creator of Emotions & Yin Method and a Sound Bath Therapist.
Like many of us, from an early age, I felt utterly disconnected, misunderstood and unappreciated. But I was always eager to heal my pain, grow spiritually and evolve as a human being.
Since my early twenties, I have dedicated most of my free time and resources to seeking and deepening my knowledge of Buddhism and Yoga.
I set on a path of self-discovery and travelled the world to study with many remarkable teachers. Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, a renowned Tibetan Buddhist master, shaped my meditation practice. My yoga journey began with Astanga yoga and, over the years, has evolved into something deeply personal and profound. I call it Emotions & Yin Method. This practice combines the best of yin & restorative yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and cognitive work.
My latest passion is offering Sound Bath therapy sessions at various events, from corporate wellness events to art gallery openings or private gatherings.
What I teach is personal, experiential, and transformative. I whole-heatedly aspire to help you hear and understand yourself, to feel safe in your own body.
