Emotions & Yin Method helps us navigate change, transitions, and personal growth. It’s an inner odyssey of exploring, cultivating, and nourishing meaningful connections with the world we all share through yoga, mindfulness, and deeper awakening.
In a world that often encourages us to put on a brave face and soldier through our challenges, the importance of acknowledging our emotions cannot be overstated. Numbing or suppressing our feelings might offer temporary relief, but it's like putting a band-aid on a wound that needs deep healing. Emotions & Yin Method provides a sanctuary where we can unravel the layers of emotion, allowing the intricate dance between our emotional, mental, and physical bodies to unfold.
Emotions & Yin Method serves as a valuable complement to traditional therapy by adding another dimension to the healing process. In contrast to solely talk-based therapies, it delves into the realm of body-stored emotions. Through hands-on techniques, such as Myofascial release, reflexology, and healing touch, Emotions & Yin Method is a unique and powerful somatic method for addressing emotional struggles.
This Method acknowledges the interconnectedness of the mind and body, allowing individuals to release tension, explore stored emotions, and foster a deeper connection to themselves.
Madina utilises the TCM five-element and organ-meridian systems as well as the Seven-Chakra subtle anatomy as a foundation for her classes.
Our emotions, tensions, and pain are the messengers, signals from the depths of our being, trying to communicate with us. They carry vital information about our needs, desires, and the state of our well-being. Ignoring these messages is akin to disconnecting from an essential part of ourselves. Emotional Release Yoga invites us to embrace our emotions, recognising them not as obstacles but as stepping stones to self-discovery and healing.
Emotional Release Yoga becomes a sacred space for integrating our emotional experiences through intentional movement, breathwork, visualisations, and subtle bodywork. As we stretch and breathe, we allow stagnant energy to flow, releasing tension stored in the body. Visualisations become a bridge, helping us navigate the landscapes of our emotions with mindfulness and compassion. The subtle bodywork delves into the energetic imprints left by our feelings, facilitating a holistic release.
In embracing Emotional Release Yoga, we venture on a transformative journey – one that encourages the full spectrum of human emotion to be felt, acknowledged, and ultimately, integrated into the tapestry of our lives. It's an invitation to honour the wisdom within, trusting that through the release of emotions, we not only find freedom but also uncover the profound beauty of our authentic selves.
Emotions & Yin Method is a unique blend of yin yoga (meridian yoga), myofascial release with therapy balls, essential oils, Reiki healing, mantra, breathwork, mindfulness, cognitive work, and healing writing.

Something that I always experienced in my practice and life, recent research suggests that physical and mental health aren’t separate. To live fulfilling lives, we need to address our physical, emotional, and mental bodies holistically.

*Emotions & Yin Method is not therapy and can’t be used to address deep trauma.
I recommend working with a certified therapist or counsellor should the need arise.
