The Emotions & Yin Method
Integrative framework that bridges Eastern energetics with contemporary emotion-informed yoga practice.

I use Yin Yoga as a structural framework for developing bodily awareness, emotional regulation, and reflective capacity. The method is grounded in long-held postures, meridian awareness, and embodied observation, allowing emotions to be experienced and integrated without force or analysis.

Emotions & Yin Method is safe space for integrating our experiences through intentional movement, and subtle bodywork. It prioritises connection, self-regulation, and presence. EYM supports nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and self-trust over time. As we move and breathe, we allow stagnant energy to flow, releasing tension stored in the body. We use visualisations as a bridge that helps us navigate the landscapes of our emotions with mindfulness and compassion. The subtle bodywork delves into the energetic imprints left by our feelings, facilitating a holistic release.

Our emotions, tensions, and pain are the messengers, signals from the depths of our being, trying to communicate with us. They carry vital information about our needs, desires, and well-being. Ignoring these messages is akin to disconnecting from an essential part of ourselves.
I invite you to embrace your emotions, recognising them not as obstacles but as stepping stones to self-discovery and healing.

STEPS OF EMOTIONS & YIN METHOD

1. Foundations Workshops 2 hrs

Explore how emotions are held within the body through Yin yoga & Emotional enquiry, healing writing, and energetic healing practices.

Participants are guided through Yin Yoga practice and reflective journaling using Madina’s Emotions & Yin Method blueprint and Emotions Poems framework.

This nurturing experience closes with partnered hands-on healing session and reflection, offering a restorative space for emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and embodied healing.

This is a great introduction to EYM Journey.

2. One-Day Immersion (5 hrs)

This one-day immersive training explores the connection between Yin yoga, emotions, the nervous system, and energetic healing practices through the lens of the Five Elements.

Combining theory, emotional enquiry, group work, intuitive bodywork, healing touch, meridian exploration, acupressure, Guasha, and reflective practices, this immersion offers a practical and experiential introduction to the EYM blueprint.

EYM Immersion invites practitioners and facilitators into a deeper understanding of emotional processing, embodied awareness, and energetic healing.

3. Integration (5 hrs)

This five-hour immersive workshop explores finding equanimity and balance in the emotional body through Yin Yoga, mindfulness, and embodied emotional awareness practices.

It combines reflective enquiry, guided Yin practice, exploration of recurring emotional patterns, the cultivation of the pause between stimulus and response, and the integration of Yin and Yang approaches.

This immersion supports participants in developing greater emotional resilience, steadiness, and the capacity to remain centred in everyday life, marking the integration stage of the EYM journey.
