The Emotions & Yin Method is an integrative framework that bridges Eastern energetics with contemporary emotion-informed yoga practice.

I use Yin yoga as a structural framework for developing somatic awareness, emotional regulation, and reflective capacity. The method is grounded in long-held postures, meridian awareness, and embodied observation, allowing emotions to be experienced and integrated without force or analysis.

Emotions & Yin Method prioritises connection and self-regulation. While holding yin yoga poses, practitioners are guided to remain present with sensation and emotional experience as they unfold, supporting the natural processes of release and integration without the need to fix, bypass, or resolve. This approach supports nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and self-trust over time. The work is slow, precise, and responsive to individual readiness, creating conditions for insight and integration to arise organically.

In a world that often encourages us to put on a brave face and soldier through our challenges, the importance of acknowledging our unease and tension cannot be overstated. Numbing or suppressing our sensations and feelings might offer temporary relief, but it's like putting a band-aid on a wound that needs deep healing. Emotions & Yin Method provides a container for unravelling the layers of emotion, allowing the intricate dance between our emotional, mental, and physical bodies to unfold.

Our emotions, tensions, and pain are the messengers, signals from the depths of our being, trying to communicate with us. They carry vital information about our needs, desires, and well-being. Ignoring these messages is akin to disconnecting from an essential part of ourselves.
I invite you to embrace your emotions, recognising them not as obstacles but as stepping stones to self-discovery and healing.

Emotions & Yin Method becomes a sacred space for integrating our experiences through intentional movement, breathwork, visualisations, and subtle bodywork. As we stretch and breathe, we allow stagnant energy to flow, releasing tension stored in the body. Visualisations become a bridge, helping us navigate the landscapes of our emotions with mindfulness and compassion. The subtle bodywork delves into the energetic imprints left by our feelings, facilitating a holistic release.
