FAQ

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes, this method is suitable for beginners. You do not need any prior yoga experience. Each session is guided in a way that is slow, supportive, and accessible, with options to modify or rest at any time.

The focus is not on physical ability, but on presence, awareness, and how you experience emotions in the body. It is especially supportive for those who are new to inner work or returning to their body after a stressfulul period, in the middle of big transition or emotional overwhelm.

How is this different from a regular Yin Yoga class?

A regular yin yoga class primarily focuses on physical flexibility, fascia release, and energetic balance through long-held postures.

EYM integrates emotional processing, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and guided cognitive practice into the experience.

You are guided to notice emotional patterns, sensations, and inner responses as they arise in the body.

The practice becomes a space for emotional exploration, regulation, and integration, rather than only physical release.

3. EYM: Integration (5 hrs)

TThis five-hour immersive workshop explores finding equanimity and balance in the emotional body through Yin Yoga, mindfulness, and embodied emotional awareness practices.

It combines reflective enquiry, guided Yin practice, exploration of recurring emotional patterns, the cultivation of the pause between stimulus and response, and the integration of Yin and Yang approaches.

This immersion supports participants in developing greater emotional resilience, steadiness, and the capacity to remain centred in everyday life, marking the integration stage of the EYM journey.
