Sunday Flow to Yin | Yoga in Rosebery
90-minute deep and immersive yoga practice in Rosebery
Sunday Flow to Yin is a 90-minute, fully immersive yoga practice that explores movement, breath, meditation, philosophy, chanting and self-enquiry.
We begin with an intelligent Vinyasa Flow to build heat, strength and awareness before gradually moving towards the slower, more introspective practice of Yin and the Emotions & Yin Method.
Along the way, we make space for pranayama (breathwork), meditation, chanting with harmonium, yoga philosophy and workshop-style exploration of challenging poses.
Some Sundays we may spend more time breaking down a pose you've always struggled with. Other weeks, the focus might be on breath, mobility, emotional awareness or a particular aspect of yoga philosophy.
The intention is to move beyond simply practising shapes and experience yoga as a complete practice for body, breath, mind and awareness.
Who is this for?
This class is suitable for students who want to deepen their practice, understand their body more intelligently and explore yoga beyond asana. You don't need to be an advanced practitioner. Curiosity and a willingness to explore are enough.
Taught by Madina, a yoga teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience and creator of the Emotions & Yin Method, this class brings together traditional yoga practices with a contemporary, embodied approach.
