Day 12

July 29, 2021 Madina Tanekeyeva

Practice:

Today’s practice is yin yoga for the hips. Release your hips and rest deeply in this session. I absolutely love this style of yoga for its nourishing and calming energy.

Reflection: abundance vs scarcity

Throughout the years of practising and teaching yoga, I discovered that sometimes I can help a student get into a pose by whispering affirmations into their ears. Tight hips, for example, need to hear the message of abundance.

“There is enough of everything for everybody”.

Today I would like you to think about how you create abundance for yourself and others? Write a list of 10 things that mean abundance to you.

E.g. cooking for your friends and having the table covered with many dishes. Or supporting small businesses instead of purchasing from big chains. Connecting people in order to help them form successful partnerships. Wearing your best garments every day and not sparing them for a special occasion.

Choose one or a few items from the list and fulfil them this week.
